Spire Project Dissemination to MSUN Stakeholders

Strategic IP Management for Effective R & I in Asian Higher Education (SPIRE) Project hold its series of capacity building trainings to create, enhance and develop participating higher education’s capacity to design, implement and manage its intellectual property. Each training is attended by three representatives coming from each participating university from Asia and Europe. The first training was IP Management at HEI held last November 27-29, 2017 at ITS, Surabaya, Indonesia. The next was the Technology Transfer Management training conducted last March 5-9, 2018 at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. On May 22-24, 2018, the project had its Research and Technology Commercialization Training at University of Turku, Turku, Finland. And finally, Patents Management Training which was held on July 16-21, 2019 at Burapha University, Thailand.

On April 12, 2019, MSU at Naawan took its opportunity to extensively disseminate information about the SPIRE Project, its objectives and roadmap, its benefits to the university; and at the same time travel report and echo-seminar on the abovementioned capacity building trainings to various stakeholders of the campus. Assistant Professors Floremie C. Bagayna, Delyn M. Bucay, and Heidie Amor A. Parcia, as participants of the capacity building abroad, led the echo-seminar.
